Affiliate Disclosure
mp4joiner.com is an independent resource site about MP4Joiner / MP4Tools. It is not the official website and is not affiliated with the developer, Alex Thüring. This page explains, in plain language, how this site is funded and which links on it are affiliate links.
How affiliate links work here
Some links to paid products and services on this site are affiliate links. They run through our /go/ redirect addresses and are marked with rel="sponsored". If you buy through one of those links, we may earn a commission from the seller. That commission never increases the price you pay — it is paid out of the seller’s margin, not added to your bill.
At the time of writing, these affiliate links point to each company’s own official website. When a link earns (or could earn) us a commission, we say so next to the link or at the top of the page that contains it.
The programs we participate in
| Program | Where you will see it | Link |
|---|---|---|
| Wondershare UniConverter | Comparisons and “beyond joining” recommendations for a paid all-in-one video toolbox | /go/uniconverter |
| Movavi | Comparisons and converter / editor recommendations | /go/movavi |
| Leawo | Recommendations where a Blu-ray / DVD-capable paid tool is the honest fit | /go/leawo |
| pCloud | Storing and sharing large joined video files | /go/pcloud |
| Amazon Associates | Hardware such as portable SSDs and storage for large video files (links carry our Amazon Associates tag) | /go/amazon-ssd |
What is not an affiliate link
MP4Joiner itself is free software, and its downloads are never affiliate links: the download buttons on this site point to the official files on SourceForge (plus a clearly labelled third-party Terabox mirror). We also recommend free tools such as HandBrake and VLC where they are genuinely the right tool for the job — we have no affiliate relationship with either project and earn nothing when you use them.
Our promise
Affiliate relationships never change the facts on this site. Version numbers, file hashes, ratings and limitations are reported as verified — including when the honest answer is “the free tool cannot do that” or “this product has not been updated since 2019”. If a paid tool is the better fit for a task MP4Joiner cannot do (format conversion, editing, Blu-ray work), we say so and explain why.
