MP4Joiner Version History (MP4Tools 3.8 to 3.0)

MP4Tools — the suite containing MP4Joiner and MP4Splitter — was actively developed from 2015 to 2019. The latest release is 3.8 (20 November 2019), and there has been no new version since. Any site advertising “MP4Joiner 4.0” or a “2026 edition” is not describing a real release.

About the 3.8 beta folders (3.8b1–3.8b5)

The SourceForge file area also lists folders named 3.8b1 through 3.8b5. Those are beta builds that came before the final 3.8 release in 2019 — they are older than 3.8, not newer. There is no reason to install them today.

Where old versions live

All historical releases are archived in the project’s official SourceForge file area: sourceforge.net/projects/mp4joiner/files/. For everyday use, install the final 3.8 from the buttons above — see the download page, Windows and Mac guides, and the FAQ.
